What is your view on Liberal Arts Colleges? And would you say Asians typically have a misconception of Liberal Arts College?

Hi, Vivian. The focus of liberal art colleges is at the undergraduate level. They try to provide the best undergraduate experience that you might not be able to have at large universities. Usually the experience you get at liberal art colleges is more personal due to the low student to teacher ratio. I don’t think Asian families have a misconception but rather a slight ignorant due to popularity. Most Asian families only know Wellesley due to madam Chiang, but other equally prestigious liberal art colleges were overlooked because they never heard of them. I always try to dispel this attitude because depending on students’ personality and focus, those colleges might be the best fit for them. I’ve written about this in depth in my previous article. Please feel free to peruse. Thank you.
