美國高等法院重判 YSI 英才教育機構
美國高等法院今天宣佈判決 Steve Seung Moke Park , Neal Ivan Lee 個人與英才教育機構 Young Scholars Institute 因盜竊商業資料等罪名必須賠償 HS2 Academy 共計美金五百多萬元的業務損失, 惩罰金及律師等費用. 如果被告不支付此筆費用, 則從今日開始以年利率10%加計利息. 依照業界前相似案例, 由於此判決為美國最高法院仲裁決定,被告人是無法在地方法院以宣告破產來脫案.
而 YSI 公司之其他工作人員, 如有再犯相同罪行者, 聯邦最高法院將對他們加重惩罰.
英才教育機構 Young Scholars Institute 是由一群 HS2 Academy 由 Neal Lee 領頭的一群前任員工 , 他們找到 Steven Park 出資開設的同性質大學申請規劃輔導機構. 自2015年起他們就不斷偷竊並非法使用我們多年心血研發版權所有的教材及註冊表格等重要資料, 甚至入侵我們的電腦系統, 偷走潛在客戶. 種種為了商業利益, 無法無天的行為, 即使有法院禁制令下仍不停止. 這群為人師表, 如此利益薰心, 實在令人不齒!
這個纏訟多年的官司, 美國高等法院在今年年初已判定 HS2 Academy 全部的控訴都成立, 完全勝訴, 今天終於還了我們一個實質的公道!

FINAL JUDGMENT AND PERMANENT INJUNCTION by Judge Andre Birotte Jr.: Upon Plaintiff’s Application to Set the Terms of the Default Judgment [177], Judgment is hereby entered in favor of Plaintiff Livewirecyber, Inc. dba HS2 Academy (“HS2”) and against Defendants Neal Ivan Lee, Young Scholars Institute LLC, and Steve Seung Moke Park (collectively “Defendants”) as follows: (1) Defendants, jointly and severally, shall pay compensatory damages to HS2 in the amount of $2,625,348.00; (2) Defendants, jointly and severally, shall pay punitive damages to HS2 in the amount of $2,625,348.00; (3) Defendants, jointly and severally, shall pay the reasonable attorney fees and costs, incurred by HS2 in the amount of $327,150.00; and (4) Defendants shall pay post-judgment interest to HS2, accruing from the date of issuance of this order at the legal rate of 10% per annum on the sums set forth above until paid in full.
